Additional Meetings to be Held on S.1439

WASHINGTON DC –
The Committee on Indian Affairs has scheduled additional meetings to discuss S.1439, the Indian Trust Reform Act of 2005. These meetings are intended to provide an update on the status of the bill and present new concepts for possible inclusion in the bill. With the Senate scheduled to reconvene on November 13th, these sessions will be important to the Committee’s consideration of S.1439 and any amendments during the remainder of this congressional session.
